Sausage, Bean, and Veggie Soup
This recipe is similar to my Veggie and Sausage Soup and my Veggie, Bean, and Hamburger Soup but with a different mix of veggies for a slow cooker variety!
Ingredients:
1 pound sausage, cooked and crumbed (hot adds more flavor)
1 10 ounce can cream of chicken soup
32 ounce chicken broth
1 sweet onion chopped
15 ounce can kidney beans, drained
15 ounce can northern beans, drained
12 ounce bag frozen lima beans
8 ounce chopped baby carrots
12 ounce bag frozen sweet peas
12 ounce bag frozen green beans
shredded parmesan for garnish
Add all ingredients except sweet peas, green beans, and parmesan to slow cooker. Mix well. Set the setting on low for 8 hours.
When there are two hours left, add the green beans and sweet peas. Mix well.
Serve and top with parmesan! Goes great with a grilled cheese!
